DescriptionGlamsterdam, Ethereum's next hard fork (ePBS EIP-7732, BALs EIP-7928), already slipped to Q4 2026. On the Aug 20, 2026 ACDC #185 call client teams proposed forking Sepolia at epoch 351232 / slot 11239424 / unix 1790606688 = Sept 28, 2026 14:44:48 UTC and Hoodi at epoch 132352 / slot 4235264 / unix 1793036568 = Oct 26, 2026 17:42:48 UTC, but deferred the decision after devnet-8 hit non-finality at the Gloas transition from a builder-deposit caching bug. Calls ahead: ACDE Aug 27, ACDT Aug 31, ACDC Sept 3, then weekly through Sept 21. Outcomes resolve independently. All times UTC (Etc/UTC).
- Each outcome resolves YES if its date is locked in at or before the decision deadline, 2026-09-21 23:59:00 UTC.
- Each resolves NO if that date is deferred, moved, cancelled or unconfirmed at the deadline.
- 1. Specificity: YES requires ANY ONE of: (a) ACD notes, agenda issue or call recording showing the date agreed/confirmed, not merely proposed; (b) a fork config with that exact activation merged into ethereum/execution-specs or the outcome's own repo (eth-clients/sepolia for Sepolia, eth-clients/hoodi for Hoodi); (c) tagged releases or RCs from 2+ client teams, at least one consensus-layer, whose notes or bundled config set that exact activation; unreleased main-branch defaults do not count. Any ACD call counts: ACDC, ACDE or ACDT.
- 2. Exclusion: Media and dev social posts without call-notes or repo backing do not count. A different timestamp, another deferral, or mainnet dates do not count. The forks executing is NOT required.

- 4. Timing: decision must occur at or before 2026-09-21 23:59:00 UTC; market resolves Sept 23 to let notes publish. Later decisions resolve NO.
- 5. Cancellation: A verbal "still targeting" without agreed status resolves NO. Locked in then postponed before Sept 21 resolves NO. Rescheduled calls do not extend the deadline.
