- This event resolves YES if, between Nov 5, 2026 and 11:59 PM ET Dec 31, 2027 (04:59 UTC Jan 1, 2028), Amazon MGM, the official 007 channels, Heyman, Pascal, Villeneuve, or Dua Lipa or her official representatives/label clearly state that Lipa will perform the film's main theme song.
- This event resolves NO otherwise.
- 1. Specificity: The main theme is the song officially presented as the film's title/theme song. Lipa may be the sole or a credited co-performer (duet/featured). The statement must be on the record: a press release, an official account post, or an on-the-record interview reported by Variety, THR, Deadline, BBC or a comparable major outlet.
- 2. Exclusion: Unnamed sources, rumours, odds, teasers, "in talks", and "would love to" remarks don't count. Writer/producer-only credit, backing vocals, remixes, or other soundtrack songs don't count. If another artist is officially confirmed as sole theme performer, or Bond 26 is cancelled, before any Lipa confirmation, this resolves NO. A retitled film still counts.
- 3. Source Hierarchy: Official Amazon MGM/007 channels first, then Lipa's verified channels, then Variety/THR/Deadline/BBC. An official denial overrides media reports.
- 4. Timing: Must occur before 04:59 UTC Jan 1, 2028. Post-deadline resolves NO. Market may close early on YES.
- 5. Cancellation Rule: A confirmation that is later reversed still resolves YES if it was made before the deadline.
