- This event resolves YES if Base and/or Coinbase officially launches a live, publicly usable product offering 1:1-backed tokenized US equities on or before August 21, 2026 23:59 UTC.
- This event resolves NO if no such product is live by the deadline.
- 1. Specificity: YES requires a live product where users can obtain tokens representing real US-listed shares backed 1:1 by shares held in regulated custody. A Coinbase/Base offshore (non-US) launch counts, regardless of which chain the product settles on. An official Coinbase/Base announcement confirming the product is live is sufficient evidence even if the product itself is geo-restricted.
- 2. Exclusion: An announcement, launch date, testnet, waitlist, private beta, or Base 'creator coin'/native governance token does NOT count. Tokenized equities from unaffiliated third parties do not count.
