Will Apple officially announce the iPhone 18e by March 31, 2027?

• This event resolves YES if Apple officially announces the iPhone 18e between November 6, 2026 and 11:59 PM ET (America/New_York) on March 31, 2027 (03:59 UTC April 1, 2027).
  
• This event resolves NO if no such announcement occurs by the deadline.
  
• 1. Specificity: Announcement = Apple publicly names the device and presents it as a product via an Apple Newsroom post, event/keynote reveal, or apple.com product or pre-order page. The device is the iPhone Apple markets as the successor to the iPhone 17e (or as its new lowest-priced iPhone), under any name (18e, 18 Lite, etc.), but not a rebranded older model.
  
• 2. Exclusion: Rumors, leaks, analyst/supply-chain reports, regulatory filings, code references, teasers, invitations or "coming soon" text not explicitly naming the device do not count. Base iPhone 18 or iPhone Air 2 announcements alone do not count.
  
• 3. Source Hierarchy: Apple Newsroom priority. Apple.com product pages secondary. Major outlets (MacRumors, The Verge, Bloomberg, Reuters) tertiary, only when reporting an official Apple announcement.
  
• 4. Timing: Must occur before 03:59 UTC April 1, 2027. Post-deadline resolves NO. Shipping/availability need not occur before the deadline.
  
• 5. Cancellation Rule: If announced then delayed or withdrawn, resolves YES based on first official announcement date. If unclear whether a device qualifies, Apple's own product description governs; if no qualifying announcement exists by the deadline, resolves NO.
