Description 'Avengers: Doomsday' premieres in Los Angeles on December 14, 2026, opening December 16 in the UK and December 18 in the US. Rumors say Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man appears while Garfield's is saved for 'Secret Wars' (2027). Garfield denies being in it, but he also denied his 'No Way Home' role.
- This event resolves YES if Andrew Garfield appears as Peter Parker / Spider-Man in the first commercial theatrical release (any market) of 'Avengers: Doomsday', confirmed by December 31, 2026 23:59 UTC.
- This event resolves NO if the film is released and he does not appear, or if no qualifying confirmation exists by December 31, 2026 23:59 UTC.
- 1. Specificity: Counts in or out of costume, in the main film or any mid-/post-credits scene, incl. voice-only or new footage. Archival footage counts only if it is a clearly identifiable shot of Garfield as Peter Parker / Spider-Man.
- 2. Exclusion: Trailers, marketing, deleted scenes, home-media extras, Garfield playing another character, or another actor playing his Spider-Man do not count. Leaks, rumors or premiere footage cut from the released version do not count; only the released cut matters.
- 3. Source Hierarchy: Official film credits / Marvel Studios priority. If uncredited, reporting on the released film by at least two of Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, IGN suffices. Other major entertainment outlets tertiary.
- 4. Timing: Betting closes before the world premiere, or before any earlier public/press/fan screening. Confirmation must occur by December 31, 2026 23:59 UTC. If the film's first theatrical release is delayed beyond December 31, 2026, the event is voided/refunded.
- 5. Cancellation Rule: Casting announcements alone without appearance in the released film resolve NO.
