DescriptionCTA plans to publicly reveal CES 2027 Innovation Awards Honorees and Best of Innovation recipients on November 9, 2026. An LG OLED TV has won Best of Innovation four straight years (OLED Flex 2023, wireless OLED 2024, OLED evo 2025, SIGNATURE OLED T 2026); Samsung and others compete in display categories.
- This event resolves YES if, by November 9, 2026 23:59 America/Los_Angeles, CTA's official CES 2027 Innovation Awards list (ces.tech) or an official LG Electronics announcement publicly confirms at least one LG Electronics OLED television received the "Best of Innovation" designation in any CES 2027 category.
- This event resolves NO if no such public confirmation exists by the deadline.
- 1. Specificity: Any LG Electronics-marketed OLED TV (incl. LG SIGNATURE OLED, OLED evo, transparent/flexible/wireless OLED TVs) counts, in any category. Joint LG Electronics/LG Display entries count if marketed as an LG Electronics TV. Sub-brands count only if the display is OLED.
- 2. Exclusion: Honoree status alone does not count. LG OLED monitors, LG Display panels for other brands, non-OLED LG TVs (QNED, Micro RGB, MicroLED), projectors and non-TV products do not count. An LG win kept under embargo until January 4, 2027 resolves NO. Awards withdrawn by CTA before the deadline do not count.
- 3. Source Hierarchy: ces.tech Innovation Awards pages priority. LG Newsroom secondary. Reputable tech media (The Verge, CNET, FlatpanelsHD) tertiary.
- 4. Timing: Betting closes November 8, 2026 23:59 America/Los_Angeles (Nov 9, 07:59 UTC) or at any earlier official reveal, whichever comes first; it does not reopen. If CTA postpones the reveal, the deadline moves to 23:59 America/Los_Angeles on the new reveal date; if no public reveal occurs before January 4, 2027, resolves NO.
- 5. Note: CTA privately notifies winners before the public reveal; bets concern public confirmation only.
