Description The Game Awards 2026 takes place Thursday, December 10, 2026 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles (pre-show ~4:00PM PT / 00:00 UTC Dec 11; main show 4:30PM PT / 00:30 UTC). A jury of 100+ media outlets picks nominees, expected around mid-November; games released by November 20, 2026 are eligible, including Grand Theft Auto VI (Nov 19). Contenders include GTA VI, The Blood of Dawnwalker, 007 First Light, Titanium Court, Esoteric Ebb, Silent Hill: Townfall, Mixtape and Control Resonant.
- This event resolves YES for the outcome matching the game officially named winner of Best Narrative at The Game Awards 2026 on or before December 31, 2026 23:59 UTC. All other outcomes resolve NO.
- 1. Specificity: Only the official Best Narrative winner counts, whether announced during the pre-show or main show. Any unlisted game winning resolves "Other". Editions of a listed game count as that game.
- 2. Exclusion: Nominations, other categories, leaks, predictions and fan votes do not count. Listed games that are not nominated or not eligible resolve NO (e.g. if GTA VI slips past the Nov 20 cutoff, its outcome resolves NO).
- 3. Source Hierarchy: Official ceremony broadcast / thegameawards.com priority. The Game Awards official social channels secondary. Major outlets (IGN, GameSpot, Polygon) tertiary.
- 4. Timing: Winner must be announced on or before December 31, 2026 23:59 UTC. If the category isn't awarded or the ceremony doesn't happen by then, the market resolves N/A. Betting closes at the start of the pre-show (00:00 UTC Dec 11; adjusted if TGA announces a different pre-show time).
- 5. Ties: If multiple games are jointly named winner, each tied game's outcome resolves YES.
